ESSER III Informational Meeting

Burkeville ISD will be applying for and receiving ESSER III funds.  The application deadline is July 27, 2021. The purpose of these funds is to address the impact that COVID-19 has had, and continues to have, on elementary and secondary schools and students.
 
Burkeville ISD is expecting to receive a one time, non-renewable grant in the amount of $734,762.  There are defined limitations to what may be funded and any positions that are grant-funded will expire when funding ends. Funds may be used through September 2024.  Burkeville ISD must assess their needs every 6 months and adjust their plans as needed.  We are seeking stakeholder input as we develop our district plan.
